Liz is the CEO of STAR Brokerage and she serves on its board of directors.

Before being appointed CEO in February 2017, Liz was VP of Sales and Marketing at STAR since 2013 and was responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives for the company as well as overseeing all marketing and new business development.

​

Her outstanding background includes Senior Director of Development for Christus Health Foundation, where she raised millions of dollars annually in order to provide healthcare to underserved children, seniors and adults in Houston.  Previously, she worked as Director of Business Development for the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce responsible for major corporate account business development, managing sponsor programs for Fortune 500 companies and community outreach within the hispanic community.

Liz is the youngest woman and Latina to graduate from the prestigious MBA for executive's program at Rice University.
