Today's STAR Team spotlight is on Stacey H., who works at our DFW Division as Business Manager and Account Executive for Brookshire Grocery. Stacey has been an essential part of the STAR Brokerage Family for over 17 years and works with all kinds of brands from each and every department of the Grocery store.
When did you get started?
I worked at Brookshire Grocery, I was 16. It was 1986 to 1991. I was a carryout, then checker, then day stocker, then night stoker then crew chief. And then Perishable Manager. Then I worked for Albertsons a total of 9 years. I was a Grocery Manager.
A funny, interesting, or enlightening anecdote about being in this business?
It’s always and adventure, and thank goodness I am a self starter because it is all about innovation.
What do you like most about working for STAR?
The people, how much they care. We are always finding ways to create growth for our clients in this ever changing and awesome industry!
