All Commodity Volume (ACV) is the volume of all goods sold through a specific channel over a period of time. ACV data is also the way to measure fair share. ACV in syndicated data, which is scanned data from retailers collected, sorted, and validated by a third party (Nielsen) and made available for purchase. With syndicated data, we measure shipments of the retailers in the marketplace. For example, we determine ACV 40% of all shipments were your brand.
